Wi-Fi Test Engineer

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Skills Required

• Work with WLAN protocols such as 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be.
• Develop and execute test strategies for Wi-Fi extenders, mesh systems, and steering protocols like 802.11k/v.
• Design test beds and Wi-Fi testing tools.
• Perform throughput, performance, stability, and stress testing on WLAN systems.
• Use tools such as spectrum analyzers, Ixia, OmniPeek, Wireshark, Spirent, and other RF equipment.
• Strong understanding of WLAN protocols and security standards like WPA2, WPA3, and 802.1X.
• Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi sniffers and packet capture tools.
• Good coding experience on Linux (any programming language).
• Expertise in analyzing Wi-Fi networks and resolving complex issues.
• Use tools such as spectrum analyzers, Ixia, OmniPeek, Wireshark, Spirent, and other RF equipment.
• Strong understanding of WLAN protocols and security standards like WPA2, WPA3, and 802.1X.
