StanChem, a division of Deltech, has an exciting opportunity available for a Sales Account Manager to be an integral part of the Sales team. The position will maintain and grow emulsion polymer sales; identify and develop new opportunities for existing products; and build and maintain positive relationships with customers at all levels of the organization.
WHAT YOU'LL DO :
- Plan and prioritize customer / prospect contacts, meetings, and projects towards achieving agreed sales volume and price targets.
- Maintain and expand sales in the key market segments primarily CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers) Markets.
- Communicate / interact effectively with Production, R&D / Applications, and Customer Service to provide continuous, courteous service to meet all customer requirements (i.e. expedites, new product information, problem solving, etc.) to ensure customer objectives are met.
- Manage distributor relations to meet the demands and strategy of the StanChem business unit.
- Develop account penetration through multiple layered and functional contacts including purchasing, technology, business, supply chain, and manufacturing personnel.
- Respond to, validate, and follow up on customer inquiries for samples, data, pricing, and availability.
- Gain an understanding of key accounts and market competitive technology alternatives to help the business understand how to maximize value.
- Calibrate customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Establish prospect list, account plans and strategies. Regularly review and update the plans.
