We are seeking an experienced SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER to become an integral part of our MECHANICAL SERVICE/SALES division at MJ Daly, LLC. This individual will be responsible for profitably growing our service agreement and quoted work portfolio to plan levels. The SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER will be productive utilizing standard department processes by focusing on customer and employee satisfaction. This candidate will work with operations and management to estimate and propose HVAC service work that lines up with the company vision and financial objectives. This individual seeks new customer growth through proven, effective sales methods focused on profitability. The end result is a team-oriented, customer-satisfaction driven, profitable service sales department. This position is located in Waterbury, CT.
Essential Duties:
Develop a relationship with existing customers
Manage service contracts of existing customers as follows:
- Have a complete understanding of each customer’s service contract
- Ensure services are being performed in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract
- Coordinate with service supervisors, dispatchers, etc. to ensure all customer needs are met
Actively seek new customer growth through proven, effective sales methods
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills to communicate with internal staff, customers, vendors, and subcontractors
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
- Strong ability to manage customer accounts successfully
- Demonstrated pleasant, friendly demeanor
- Mechanical aptitude required
Minimum Requirements:
- Two (2) years of experience in HVAC service, installation, or sales
- Bachelor’s degree in sales preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in CRM software preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license and an operating vehicle
- Ability to travel locally (automobile)
