Nestled in rolling forested hills amid abundant lakes, Delton Kellogg is a public school district with a small school feel and big school opportunities. We seek the person responsible for installing and maintaining district technology software and hardware equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support district LAN/WAN
- Support district hardware and software system
- Support district backup system
- Ability to work well alone as well as in a team environment
- Support district users
- Keep current software up to date
- Proficient in the setup of Windows 11
- Proficient in the setup of Microsoft Office applications
- Maintain and secure sensitive and/or confidential information
- Proficient in the setup of wireless network
- Support end-user software applications, both locally and network installed
- Order warranty parts
- Maintains Anti-Virus database and implementations
- Contact software vendors to resolve problems with software products and hardware compatibility
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent people skills
- Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or his/her designee
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- Associates Degree in Computer Science or related subject, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum two years experience as a computer technician with a Novell Network
- Knowledge and experience with current Netware, Windows Operating Systems and Internet Protocols
Preferred: Certified Novell Administrator
Reports To: Director of Technology
Contract Terms: 52 weeks, 8 hours per day
Salary: Starting at $40,000 / year
