Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dining Room Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dining area. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring a high-quality dining experience, and maintaining the overall efficiency of the dining room.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and train dining room staff to ensure excellent service standards are met.
- Oversee kitchen management, coordinating with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality food service.
- Manage the Cake POS system for efficient order processing and payment handling.
- Assist in bartending duties as needed, ensuring compliance with all beverage service regulations.
- Develop training programs for staff to enhance their skills in hospitality management and customer service.
- Coordinate catering services for special events, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in team management within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
- Experience in kitchen management or cooking is preferred.
- Familiarity with bartending practices is a plus.
- Proficient in using Cake POS or similar point-of-sale systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff and customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A background in training development is desirable, with an emphasis on enhancing team performance.
