Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Lead Host to join our team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. As the Lead Host, you will oversee the front-of-house operations, manage reservations, and coordinate with the restaurant staff to maintain a smooth flow of service.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience.
- Utilize Open Table and Yelp systems for reservations and table management efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with guests and staff to ensure all needs are met promptly.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu options, specials, and reservations.
- Assist in training new host staff on best practices in hospitality and customer service.
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to enhance guest services and address any concerns or feedback.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area to create a welcoming environment.
- Support food service operations as needed during peak hours or special events.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is preferred, particularly within food service or hotel environments.
- Familiarity with Open Table/ Yelp or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for interacting with guests effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and providing excellent guest services.
