Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders and ensure they are communicated effectively to the kitchen staff.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience and respond promptly to requests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to maintain smooth operations during busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils between guests.
- Assist in training new staff members on service standards and restaurant procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is required.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- A positive attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is a plus.

Pay: $15.27 - $50.00 per hour
