Dog Groomer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle pets of all temperaments.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and cats.
• Assess the condition of each pet's coat and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
• Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort during grooming sessions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming services, pet care tips, and any concerns regarding their pets' health or behavior.
• Provide exceptional customer service to build strong relationships with clients and their pets.
• Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques and trends to enhance service offerings.

Experience

• Skills in animal handling, including experience with various breeds of dogs and cats.
• Background in veterinary assistance or animal care is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
• Familiarity with dog handling or training techniques is beneficial for managing different temperaments during grooming sessions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $1,500.00 per week

Compensation Package:

• 50% commission
• Tips

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
