What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at DEM Manufacturing?
DEM Manufacturing, a growing small-business leader in medical and advanced communication device manufacturing for military and law enforcement, is seeking an entry-level or early career Accountant / Bookkeeper to perform its accounting functions.
This position directly reports to the Vice President of Operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile journal entries.
- Perform AR invoicing, AP payment processing, and bank account entries.
- Perform project expense accounting.
- Implement and monitor internal financial policies.
- Maintain inventory, asset records, and depreciation schedules.
- Prepare month end closings.
- Coordinate with DEM’s external accountant for financial statement and tax return preparation.
- Maintain the sales quotation process.
- Participate on the ISO 9001 team for asset and document control.
- Other associated tasks as required.
Qualifications, Education, & Experience
- Combination of high school diploma or Associate's degree, and / or 1 year of accounting software experience such as QuickBooks.
- Use of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
- US Person authorized to work in the US.
