Accountant

DEM Manufacturing, a growing small-business leader in medical and advanced communication device manufacturing for military and law enforcement, is seeking an entry-level or early career Accountant / Bookkeeper to perform its accounting functions.

This position directly reports to the Vice President of Operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile journal entries.
• Perform AR invoicing, AP payment processing, and bank account entries.
• Perform project expense accounting.
• Implement and monitor internal financial policies.
• Maintain inventory, asset records, and depreciation schedules.
• Prepare month end closings.
• Coordinate with DEM’s external accountant for financial statement and tax return preparation.
• Maintain the sales quotation process.
• Participate on the ISO 9001 team for asset and document control.
• Other associated tasks as required.

Qualifications, Education, & Experience

• Combination of high school diploma or Associate's degree, and / or 1 year of accounting software experience such as QuickBooks.
• Use of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
• US Person authorized to work in the US.
