Demaray Pool Supply, Inc. is a small privately held California corporation. The company started in May 1977 in Vacaville, California. In 2002, the company expanded into Sutter, Yuba and Colusa counties. The company provides retail option for the Do-It-Yourself customer as well as a service and repair department for others. We are looking for an assistant store manager for our flagship store in Vacaville, California. This is fast paced position especially during peak season.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include all facets of store retail.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Ability to listen and communicate in person or over phone with customer
- Manage and assure timely completion of internal projects such as orders and shop work.
- Assure company communication channels are followed properly.
- Promote growth in customers and sales
- Maintain store conditions including housekeeping and merchandising
- Ability to work independent of direct supervision and without additional staff at times
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Would like retail experience
- Must be able to work flexible hours including Saturdays.
- Must pass company background check.
- Must have proven successful communication skills verbal and written.
- Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely.
- Ability to be on your feet and moving all day.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds. Activities will include bending, kneeling, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying and a wide range of other physical activities. The understanding and proper use of a ladder is required.
- A college degree is a plus.
