DeMarche is seeking a full-time Investment Consulting, Associate. This professional will join a team of client-responsive analysts.
Our Associates are highly organized, highly competent analysts that support our team of consultants, senior analysts, clients and investment committee members. Daily tasks involve assimilating client information and data into professional reports, collecting information from investment managers, generating technical reports using various investment databases and financial software and responding to internal and external inquiries for information.
Job Duties
· Assimilate complex information from multiple sources into standard and customized reports for consultants’ communications with institutional investment clients.
· Set priorities for timely responses to consultants, client inquiries and material preparation.
· Research various market, investment and plan sponsor topics under the direction of Senior Consultants and the firm’s Chief Investment Officer.
· Communicate with technical investment experts to acquire current data and ensure accuracy and clarity of documentation that is prepared.
· Properly store reports and organization information for quick access by team members.
· Troubleshoot and clearly articulate solutions when problems arise for consultant or client.
Job Requirements
· A strong financial acumen for communicating with clients and consultants.
· Attention to detail, initiative to proofread, and promptness in producing professional results.
· Natural curiosity and inquisitiveness about capital markets.
· An above average level of technical skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
· Experience with Outlook, Morningstar, and eVestment are desired.
· A college degree in finance or economics is highly desired.
· Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Office skills are needed for producing final projects and essential administrative duties

Working Conditions

· Office environment with standard office equipment and technology.
· Some overnight travel may be required (air and auto).
· Valid driver’s license is required.
· Overtime is necessary with minimal advance notice.
