This role will involve a mix of office and field work. We apply the latest technology to increase survey data collection efficiency and to help our clients solve their most challenging problems.QualificationsClean driving record and clean background due to project requirements. (We will need to perform a background check if your application proceeds to an offer).High School Diploma required.Bachelor of Science in a DPOR Board-approved 4-year survey or survey-related curriculum preferred. In lieu of a 4-year degree, additional field experience and / or a 2-year survey curriculum may be necessary.Successful completion of Fundamentals of Surveying (F.S.) for Surveyor-In-Training (SIT) Designation is preferred.Certified Remote Pilot preferred, or ability to pursue Part 107 certification from the FAA. ResponsibilitiesAssist Party Chief in data collection for boundary, topo, and construction stakeout surveys. Setup traverse control points.Assist Party Chief in backsight and foresight traversing.Assist Party Chief in searching for, recovering, and flagging property corner monumentation. Setup GNSS Base Station(s) for 2-hr static logging.Prepare a hand drawn house sketch with detailed feature measurements using tape measure and laser distance meter. Open manhole lids and measure utility inverts with level and laser distance meter. Write field notes of measure down inverts, tree diameters, height of instrument, etc.Take detailed photo loop of project site.Ability to be trained for LiDAR Scanning & UAS Drone piloting.1-3 days a week in the office to help process survey data, and coordinate survey schedules. 2-4 days a week of field work (Depending on workload).
