Responsibilities
- Reviewing and monitoring complex injury files for proper medical management by the paralegals and case managers, to ensure clients are receiving proper treatment and being referred to specialists if needed
- Handling escalated calls, denials, terminations and withdrawals
- Addressing and resolving customer complaints and issues
- Answering questions and providing legal guidance to Complex Injury staff
- Assisting with monitoring and managing staff to ensure metrics are achieved
- Communicating with clients with compassion and empathy and in a manner that inspires confidence and trust
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school; Admission in good standing to NC State Bar; Admission to SC State Bar a plus
- Minimum of 5 years’ personal injury practice experience; Complex/Catastrophic PI experience strongly preferred
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining high attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Ability to recognize, diffuse, and offer problem resolution to irate clients
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Supervisory experience preferred
