Job description
Demco is seeking individuals to work in our Paint Prep department. This position helps to prep trailers for paint by grinding, washing, and caulking the trailers. Manufacturing and forklift experience preferred, but not required. Demco provides a competitive compensation & benefits package that takes into account your skills, and expertise. Staring at $20.44 based on experience.
Hours are Monday - Thursday 6am-4:30pm and Fridays as needed, based on production
Requirements
Primary Duties:
- Wash trailers
- Remove rust, slag & smooth out welds & caulking
- Grind, scrape and prepare product for paint
- Lift product off paint line & package securely
- Attend all required safety training
- Conscientious of following procedures and keeping accurate records
- Mentor and train other employees
- Complete jobs on a timely and consistent basis
- Work as a team and be self motivated to work independently
- Actively look for new and improved ways to do things
- Meet reasonable production goals
- Maintain a safe working environment
