What are the responsibilities and job description for the College Brand Ambassador/Poetry Lounge Promoter position at Demhaj Poetry Lounge?
Are you a social butterfly with a love for spoken word, art, and nightlife? We’re looking for a passionate and outgoing College Brand Ambassador to help grow our poetry lounge’s community! Your mission? Spread the word on campus, engage with potential guests, and bring new faces through our doors.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with local poetry lovers, creatives, and socialites to promote our events.
- Distribute flyers, post on social media, and spark conversations in the community.
- Attend networking events, open mics, and other events to represent our lounge.
- Create excitement around upcoming shows and special events.
- Collect contact information and build a list of interested patrons.
Qualifications:
- Outgoing, charismatic, and comfortable talking to strangers.
- A love for poetry, spoken word, and live performances.
- Active on social media with the ability to drive engagement.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Prior experience in promotions, marketing, or sales is a plus!
