Logistics Manager, Analytical Services V
Democracy International (DI) is seeking to hire a Logistics Manager for the anticipated Analytical Services V contract funded by USAID’s Bureau for Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance (DRG). This activity will provide services–including analysis, assessment, research, training, communications, knowledge management, and tailored, rapid-response technical resources and support–to the DRG Bureau, USAID Missions, and other USAID operating units that will inform and advance DRG approaches and programming across the globe. The Logistics Manager will oversee program operations and track deliverable deadlines.
This will be a full-time position based in DI’s home office in Bethesda, MD and will be contingent on award and funding.

Essential Job Duties:
The position’s responsibilities will include:
Programmatic
- Oversee program operations;
- Manage tasking delivery;
- Track deadlines for deliverables;
- Ensure taskings proceed on time/within budget;
- Lead recruitment and onboarding consultants;
- Oversee logistics for contract staff and consultants;
- Oversee issue-spotting and troubleshooting;
- Directs other program management and technical expert personnel; and
- Provides quality control and ensures compliance with all relevant regulations.
Secondary Job Duties:
- Contribute to ongoing Democracy International business development efforts around the world.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma and 4 years of experience assigning staff and/or short-term consultants worldwide in the most expedient and cost-effective manner;
- Experience overseeing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously;
- Experience with USAID compliance and reporting requirements as well as an understanding of the USAID regulatory environment;
- Knowledge of USAID regulations and procurement processes, or experience working on procurement for international donors or government projects, highly desirable;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and ability to learn various software systems required; and
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics, transparency, and accountability in program implementation.
Reporting:
- This position reports to the Analytical Services V Senior Program Manager.
