The Democratic Municipal Campaign Committee (DMCC) serves as a federally registered Super PAC in its formative stages.
Looking to provide dedicated support to #LocalDems, in their various races for offices ranging from; mayor and city council, to district attorney and school board, the Committee is on the front-lines of an often overlooked aspect of the political field, where a majority of day-to-day governance effecting American lives is conducted.
Innovative in its approach, providing platformed technology that allows contributors to hyper-filter and target the; races, candidates, regions, and communities they wish to support, the Committe is proud to be involved in this crucial work.
Role Overview:
The Committee seeks to seat its inaugural Board of Directors for the purposes of regulatory compliance and strategic guidance.
Directors will be seated for two year terms, renewable ad infinitum, and shall be tasked with the following responsibilities:
Role Requirements & Preferences:
The Committee shall consider all qualified and interested applicants who meet the following requirements;
Compensation:
Directors shall be compensated for all reasonable expenses incurred in the administration of their duties, and shall be remunerated at a rate of $1,000 per attended meeting.

- Overseeing regulatory adhereance, the ethical and lawful administration of the Committee, and the overall fiscal health and stability of the organization as a whole,
- Providing the Committee's Executive with strategic input on matters pertaining to; administration, strategy, finance, and institutional management where requested,
- Formenting analysis of Committee operations and developments via service on one of three Board Panels,
- Attendance at all meetings of the Board, and the Director's chosen Panel (one (1) full meeting of the Board per month, one (1) hour in length, and one (1) floating Panel Day to be scheduled by the Panel's Chair.)
Role Requirements & Preferences:
The Committee shall consider all qualified and interested applicants who meet the following requirements;
At least five (5) years of experience in a senior level role in the private or public sector,- Demonstrable commitment to the furtherment of the Democratic Party and local affairs at the municipal or county level,
- The ability to communicate complex topics succinctly and clearly,
- The ability to perform complex analysis with a group,
- The ability to meet the requirements of the Board's attendance needs,
- Possession of at least a Bachelor's Degree in; Poltical Science, Government, Non-Profit Administration or a similar field, as conferred by an accredited institution of higher learning,
- Previous or present experience as an elected or appointed official at the municipal or county level, and/or as a staffer in an office of said official, or for an institution of local government, is preferred but not required.
