Duties
- Greet customers and assess their service needs in a professional manner.
- Create detailed service orders based on customer requests and vehicle issues.
- Communicate with service technicians to relay customer concerns and ensure accurate repairs.
- Provide customers with estimates for services, including parts and labor costs.
- Follow up with customers on the status of their vehicles and any additional services required.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to service or repairs.
- Promote additional services that may benefit the customer’s vehicle maintenance needs.
Skills
- Experience in a dealership environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Knowledge of auto body repair processes and terminology.
- Sales experience, particularly in automotive sales, is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicles to understand service requirements effectively.
- Familiarity with automotive service management practices.
- Experience with routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively with service technicians and other staff members.
