What are the responsibilities and job description for the Innovation Village Cleaner position at Den-Wil?
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Property Project Manager, the Innovation Village property attendant will perform a variety of cleaning activities on a regular, routine, and as needed basis while meeting superior quality standards and providing residents with exceptional customer service at all times.
Specific schedule to be established with the property manager.
Essential Functions:
Public Areas
- Vacuum entries, hallways, and amenities areas.
- Dispose of trash from bins and containers.
- Clean windows and glass surfaces.
- Dust all furniture
- Report needed repairs to Property Project Manager.
Apartments
- Complete apartment turnovers within five days (earlier if requested) ensuring unit is clean and meets Property Project Manager’s quality standards by following the cleaning checklist provided with each turnover.
Marginal Functions:
- Maintain all cleaning equipment, ensuring it is all in proper working order.
- Ensure adequate levels of cleaning supplies and products.
- Submit supplies and equipment orders to the Property Project Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
Experience
- 1 year previous cleaning experience preferred.
Requirements
- Reliable and punctual.
- Dedicated professionalism.
- Efficient and effective time-management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes meeting quality standards for services.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, supplies, and techniques for cleaning.
- Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures to ensure Resident safety.
- Ability to follow verbal directions.
- Ability to see opportunities to improve Resident’s housing experience.
- Ability to adjust one’s actions in relation to others’ actions.
- Ability to observe, receive and otherwise obtain and process information from all relevant sources.
- Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with Residents, co-workers, manager, and other team members, and maintain them over time.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and routines.
- Ability to see the details when cleaning.
Essential Physical Requirements
- Requires occasional lifting up to 25lbs.
- Requires considerable use of arms and legs and moving entire body, such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
- Requires use of abdominal and lower back muscles to support the body repeatedly or continuously over time without ‘giving out’ or fatiguing.
- Requires bending, stretching, twisting, and reaching with body, arms, and legs.
- Requires use of hands and arms in handling, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
We are currently hiring for 1 full-time position but may be willing to accommodate part time. $20/hr.
