Responsibilities and Duties
- Process purchase orders, ensuring they are allocated correctly and align with corresponding invoices.
- Scan and file purchasing documents precisely and accurately.
- Coordinate and communicate with buyers to ensure pricing discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
- Assist the accounting department with projects, including preparing reports, conducting cost analysis, and maintaining price lists.
- Provide backup support for accounting functions during peak times or vacations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 6-12 months of experience in data-entry, office, or customer service roles preferred
- Excellent computer skills and ability to adapt to new systems
- Intermediate Excel proficiency for preparing reports and performing basic analysis
- Accuracy and speed in data entry
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Outstanding communication and listening skills
- Background and credit check required

Work Schedule and Environment
- You’ll work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with weekends off.
- This position is based out of our main office and landscaping headquarters in SE Portland.
