Assistant Cake Decorator
Denny's 5th Avenue Bakery is looking for an assistant cake decorator. This is a full time/part time position working 3- 5 days a week – with rotating Saturdays. The ideal candidate will have:
- At least three years of experience in a specialty bakery – Baking experience is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail writing on cakes
- An artistic and creative mind
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ready to pitch-in, learn, and be a team player
Must have advanced expertise with the following basic decorating skills:
- Leveling, building, and crumb coating cakes properly
- Ice cakes smoothly
- Hand paint designs on cakes
- Experience in stacking cakes
