Ideal candidates will have experience in general liability, personal injury, transportation, and/or catastrophic injury. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with 2-7 years of litigation experience, to grow in their careers with exposure to a wide variety of prominent national clients and by taking on substantial litigation responsibilities. Working directly with in-house counsel, the attorney in this role will have the exciting opportunity to interact directly with sophisticated clients sophisticated clients, as well as Internal teams of talented, experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end.
- Work closely and collaborate with other attorneys and partners.
- Regular trial preparation, investigation, court appearances, mediations, and depositions.
- Communicate with clients and provide reports.
Qualifications
- Must have a JD from an accredited law school
- Must be admitted to practice law in California and be a good standing member of the CA Bar
- Must have 2-7 years of defense litigation experience
- Experience with defending Personal Injury, General Liability, Catastrophic Injury, Transportation, and other civil litigation matters preferred.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Client-facing experience preferred
- Must have the ability to integrate into a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Legal project management experience is a plus.
