Ideal candidates will have experience in general liability, personal injury, transportation, and/or catastrophic injury. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with 8 years of litigation experience, to grow in their careers with exposure to a wide variety of prominent national clients and by taking on substantial litigation responsibilities. Working directly with in-house counsel, the attorney in this role will have the opportunity to interact directly with sophisticated clients, as well as Internal teams of talented, experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end.
- Work closely and collaborate with other attorneys and partners.
- Regular trial preparation, investigation, court appearances, mediations, and depositions.
- Communicate with clients and provide reports.
Qualifications
- Must have a JD from an accredited law school
- Must be admitted to practice law in California and be a good standing member of the CA Bar
- Must have 8 years of defense litigation experience
- Experience with defending Personal Injury, General Liability, Catastrophic Injury, Transportation, and other civil litigation matters preferred.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Client-facing experience preferred
- Must have the ability to integrate into a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- First chair trial experience preferred
- Legal project management experience is a plus.
