What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Apprentice position at DENSO Manufacturing Tennessee, Inc.?
The DENSO Maintenance Apprentice program is a 3-year hands-on training opportunity for candidates interested in a career in maintenance. There will be a combination of classroom training, On-the-Job (OJT) training and job shadowing in this role. After a successful 3-year period, the associate will become a Maintenance Technician here at DENSO!
The essential job functions will be daily and preventative maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment. Associates will be working with robotics, PLC's, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems.
Candidates need to be flexible with their shift availability. During the 3-year program, most training will be on 1st shift so a combination of 1st and 2nd shift will occur. At the completion of the program, this position will be a 2nd shift role.
Job Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous work experience and/or education in a maintenance or technical related field
- The ability to learn electrical, electronic and mechanical systems
- Strong computer skills in both software and hardware
- Ability to work daily and weekend overtime
