Inside Sales Specialist
DENT Instruments, located in Bend, Oregon, is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to support our growing technical sales team. What You'll Be Doing:
- Account Management: Supporting and managing MSRP and trade-level accounts with timely communication and service.
- Lead Qualification: Responding to inbound sales inquiries and determining the next steps, including escalating complex opportunities.
- Quoting: Preparing accurate product quotes, proposals, and Bills of Materials based on customer needs.
- Sales Support: Assisting Account Managers and Strategic Account Managers on larger projects and specifications.
- Prospecting: Reengaging dormant accounts and identifying new sales opportunities within target segments.
- CRM Management: Keeping customer records, quotes, and activities up to date in our CRM system.
- Collaboration: Working closely with sales, finance, and operations teams to support forecasting and pipeline management.
- Event Support: Assisting with trade shows, customer demos, and product trainings as needed.

Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 1–2 years in sales, customer service, or a related field.
- Industry Exposure: Familiarity with building analytics, HVAC/controls, automation, or similar technical industries is a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Mindset: Coachable, proactive, and eager to grow in a technical sales environment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and an insurable Motor Vehicle Record.
Benefits & Compensation:
- Hourly Pay: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Commission: Participate in a favorable uncapped commission plan in addition to base pay. Expect to make well over $5,000 in commissions in your first year.
