Job Overview
We are seeking a Dental Technician to join our team at the in-house laboratory for Dental Artistry Implants Crowns and Veneers. As an all digital lab we use all the latest technology such as 3D printing, CAD design, CAM milling, photogrammetry, and more. We are willing to train the right person who has an aptitude for technology and artistic ability. Our lab is the melding of modern engineering and art. Technicians have the unique opportunity working in house with some of the top technicians and doctors in the field and will have the ability to see their work in the mouth and how it dramatically changes our patient's lives.
Duties
- Fabricate dental prosthetics, including all-on-x full mouth implant restorations, crowns, bridges, dentures, nightguards, and surgical guides using CAD design with software such as Exocad, Blender, Meshmixer, Hyperdent, and more.
- Interpret prescriptions from dentists and ensure that all specifications are met accurately.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all procedures performed.
- Employ aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile working environment.
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards.
- Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient needs and treatment plans.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques.
- Use liquid ceramic to bring our restorations to life and make them look real.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in dental terminology.
- Experience with laboratory equipment such as CAD/CAM software.
- An eye for esthetics, color, and morphology.
- Previous experience in dental fabrication or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are crucial for success in this role.
- Strong computer skills is a plus, as we utilize this technology daily for many different tasks.
- Strong organization skills.
