The perfect candidate must be a personable Dental Billing Coordinator who ensures that patients insurance benefits are appropriately checked, submitted, and welcome our patients with a smile. Also, be able to enter patients' information into our dental software, answer their questions, and help the office as a team player.

To be successful as a Billing Coordinator, you should be organized, maintain a positive attitude, and have a team-player mind. Ultimately, you will be the face of the company. Therefore, we expect the best of your people skills to show our patients respect and kindness.

  • Have solid communication with team members
  • Assist with a high volume of calls
  • Have knowledge of dental billing
  • Dental experience preferred but not necessary

Answer inquiries and provide information to the general public, patients, visitors, and other interested parties regarding activities conducted at Dental Designs departments, offices, and employees within the organization.

Associate's Degree (or other 2-year degree)
High School Diploma - or the equivalent (for example, GED)

Clerical - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.

Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

Computers and Electronics - Knowledge of processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer software, including applications.

  • Active Listening- Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

  • Learning Strategies- Selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things.
  • Mathematics- Using mathematics to solve patient account problems.
  • Monitoring- Monitoring/Assessing the performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
  • Reading Comprehension- Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
  • Speaking- Talking to others to convey information effectively.
  • Writing- Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.

Communication – The employee will be in constant communication with others. This will require great communication skills and establishing contact with patients and co-workers to maintain the workflow fluently.

Impact of Decisions – The employee will be making impactful decisions throughout the day as it may affect the perception of new patients on the phone or in person. The understanding of the issue raised by any patient and the communication with the needed parties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
