The Role: KOS Services/Dental Dreams actively seeks a highly motivated individual to serve as the Payroll Benefit Analyst. This will oversee payroll and benefits processes for a growing healthcare management company with multi-state operations. The position should be comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process payroll for hourly and salaried employees for multi-state office locations, including efficient and effective collaboration with human resources and office contacts related to payroll processes
- Oversee maintenance updates of employee records in payroll/HRIS system, such as address changes, garnishments, and deductions
- Prepare various labor reports, ad hoc reports, or assist with special projects for senior management
- Implement and maintain payroll best practices to improve efficiency and consult with the HR dept. to improve payroll and HRIS processes
- Assist in preparation and ongoing coordination of benefit programs; including assisting in processes that collaborate with 3rd Party Benefit Administrators and HR on benefits matters, as well as address benefit inquires for employees
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of corporate payroll, benefits administration, or accounting experience
- Strong process improvement, teamwork, collaboration skills, and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Demonstrate ability to work in an organized, responsible manner, manage time effectively and efficiently, oversee attention to detail and perform self-review
- Preferred:
- Proficient payroll and financial systems, including: ADP Workforce Now, other payroll systems, Sage Financial systems or other GL systems
- Multi-state payroll processing experience, with a general understanding of state payroll laws
- Bachelors degree in the field of Accounting, Business Management, HR
