Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming demeanor
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently
- Verify insurance information and assist with insurance-related inquiries
- Maintain and organize patient files and medical records
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate front desk activities to ensure smooth operations
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans
- Support office management with various administrative tasks
Experience
- Prior experience in a Dental office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures would be beneficial
