Job Overview:
A leading orthodontic practice is seeking a dedicated Orthodontic Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Orthodontist four days a week, providing exceptional clinical care while creating beautiful smiles. This role involves building strong relationships with patients, referring offices, and the community. Clinical experience is a plus, but the practice is willing to train passionate individuals who are eager to grow. Compensation is competitive and based on experience, with opportunities for advancement as training milestones are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Orthodontist in delivering high-quality orthodontic care.
- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure a comfortable treatment experience.
- Maintain and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and care for orthodontic appliances.
- Take and process X-rays and impressions as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with treatment plans.
- Build rapport with patients and promote a positive environment.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of dental assisting experience (Preferred).
- X-Ray Certification (Preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with a passion for patient care.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
Schedule:
