Responsibilities

- Manage incoming calls using phone systems, directing calls appropriately and taking messages as needed.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar for medical professionals.
- Collect patient information, including health history and insurance details, ensuring accuracy in data entry.
- Handle patient inquiries regarding services, procedures, and insurance coverage.
- Assist with health information management tasks, including maintaining patient records in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Support billing processes by understanding medical coding, Medicare guidelines, and dental terminology.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient service and care coordination.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
Skills
