Dental Receptionist/Insurance Verification Specialist

Practice Description:Fast paced family practice with a Prosthodontist in the office two times per week.

Job Description:Manage phone system and respond to high-volume of incoming calls. Schedule patient appointments. Receive and compile patient data, including insurance to verify insurance coverage, coordinate patient registration, manage charts, handle payments, and organize patient data.

Pay Range: 22-28/hr.

Staff Details:

Number of Dentists: 4

Number of Registered Dental Hygienists: 2

Number of Assistants: 5

Number of Front Office Staff: 3

Number of Sterilization Techs: 4

Requirements:

Work Schedule:Office hours are Mon-Fri 7:30-5:30. Work schedule is a rotating schedule - one week work Mon-Thurs, next week work Tues-Fri. This gives a 4-day weekend every other week.

Years Experience Required: 1

Required Skills: Verifying insurance knowledge, along with getting complete dental insurance breakdowns and inputting into Dentrix, answering phones and scheduling patients.

Other Requirements: Dentrix experience and having a DA Registration are a plus.
