Job Description:
As the Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator,you will be the first point of contact for our patients and their families. Your duties will include:
- Greeting patients and parents with warmth and enthusiasm
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Answering phone calls and handling patient inquiries
- Verifying insurance and processing breakdowns
- Explaining treatment plans and coordinating patient care
- Handling financial transactions, including payments and processing claims
To succeed in this role, you'll need excellent communication skills, a love for working with children, and the ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Dental Receptionist
- A genuine passion for working with children and families
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, whether in-person, over the phone, or in writing
- Comfortable handling financial discussions and processing payments
- Ability to stay calm and efficient in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Previous dental assisting experience is a plus

Job Requirements for Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator
Work Schedule:
- Monday: 8:10 AM - 5:00 PM (Some Mondays may require an earlier start time at 7:00 AM)
- Wednesday: 8:10 AM - 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:10 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:10 AM - 5:00 PM
- No weekend hours
- Flexibility: Availability to work earlier hours on some Mondays as needed.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front office role within a dental setting.
Required Skills:
- Eaglesoft: Proficiency with Eaglesoft dental software for scheduling, insurance verification, and patient management.
- Microsoft Word: Strong skills with Microsoft Word for documentation and communication.
- Exceptional Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and team members.
- Financial Acumen: Comfortable discussing financial aspects with patients, processing payments, and explaining insurance benefits.
Additional Desired Skills:
- Previous Dental Assisting Experience is a plus, though not required.
- Ability to handle a high-energy environment with a positive and calm demeanor, especially when managing patient flow.
