We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, and be passionate about providing exceptional patient care. While dental experience is preferred, it is not necessary, as we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Patient Communication
- Communicate effectively with patients, ensuring clear understanding of their needs, appointments, and treatment plans.
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to patients through various communication channels, including in-person, phone, and email.
Scheduling and Coordination:
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with the dental team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
- Assist patients in understanding and completing necessary paperwork.
Insurance Verification:
- Verify patient insurance information and explain coverage details to patients.
- Assist in processing insurance claims and resolving any issues that may arise.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the dental team to facilitate seamless patient care and address any patient concerns or questions.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions.
Administrative Support:
- Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining patient records.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and office policies.
Requirements:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compassionate care to diverse patient populations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, with a preference for candidates with dental office experience.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and software for scheduling and record-keeping.
