Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Dentons Durham Jones Pinegar P.C. is seeking a full-time experienced Trainer/Software Support Specialist to join our Salt Lake City, Utah office.
The position will provide software help desk support, troubleshooting software, train new employees on firm software and support for formatting complex documents in Microsoft applications. Assistance will also be provided in testing new and upgraded applications and training employees on firm software.
The ideal candidate enjoys taking on new and varied responsibilities, works well independently and with others, and is driven to work hard. Exceptional organizational and time management skills are a necessity, as are careful attention to detail, the desire and ability to generate top-quality work product, and the ability to interact with attorneys and support staff in a professional manner.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide software training/support for the firm’s various legal applications.
- Provide new hire and ongoing employee training for the firm.
- Develop instructional materials and documentation.
- Oversee the development and implementation of the firm’s Learning Management System (LMS).
- Manage the firm’s document template system.
- Troubleshoot complex document formatting issues.
- Stay updated on software changes, feature updates and upgrades.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Help setup/troubleshoot conference room equipment.
- Respond to Help Desk calls and assist with help desk/desktop support tickets and escalate when necessary.
- Work on projects associated with desktop support related tasks (i.e. - rolling out OS/software upgrades, new products, office moves, etc.).
Requirements:
- Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office and its related products.
- Prior experience with Microsoft Word template systems.
- Experience with networking and Microsoft Windows.
- Prior law firm experience as a trainer and MCT/MOS certification(s) are highly desirable.
- Must possess strong communication skills and be able to explain technical issues to employees.
- Excellent analytical skills, the ability to troubleshoot, and the ability to cultivate business relationships based on trust and professionalism.
- Strong work ethic, exceptional presentation skills with polished verbal and written communication skills, and solid interpersonal and professional demeanor is imperative.
