DOCS Health is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals eager to grow their HR expertise while making a meaningful impact on new team members' journeys.
What You’ll Do
As our Onboarding Specialist, you’ll be the primary point of contact for our new hires, during the onboarding phase, ensuring they are supported at every step of the way. Your responsibilities will include:
- All forms of communication are utilized to connect with new hires to answer questions, provide guidance, troubleshoot errors and challenges and necessary information regarding the company.
- Welcoming new team members, expediently with digital onboarding kits tailored to their location, role and division.
- Connecting with Recruiting, Staffing, Travel, Payroll and Training Departments as the New Hire liaison.
- Outlining initial tasks, answering questions, and setting up technical tools.
- Collecting and maintaining employment documentation, certifications and licensure, ensuring compliance with position requirements.
- Collaborating with departments to streamline the hiring and onboarding process.
- Gain hands-on experience in key HR skills, including opportunities to work within the healthcare and government sectors.
- Employment Type: Full-time, Salaried
- Work Location: On-site at our Headquarters in Pipersville, PA.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and open to learning new systems like Applicant Tracking Software (ATS).
- Familiarity with general HR processes and workplace policies or eager to build knowledge in these areas.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- A collaborative mindset and a high level of confidentiality.
