Job Description
Overview
The Creative Producer role is a hybrid position that works both in a creative and producer capacity. The Creative Producer’s tasks are a blend of creative strategy with producer execution. This candidate will work closely with both Senior Producers and Creative Directors to seamlessly execute creative projects from pitch through post-production. This is a client-facing role that will involve frequent communication between clients and vendors.
As a producer:
Offer direct support to senior Producers and lead small to medium-sized productions and offer support on medium to large-sized clients.
Producer tasks include: cross-referencing client and vendor agreements for consistency, organizing and managing post-production timelines and deliverables, client-facing communication, ensuring fundamental production needs are met.
As a creative:
Support creative ideation on small to mid-size productions.
Creative tasks include: working collaboratively on scripting, ensuring creative and production are cohesive, attending productions to support, quality control on post-production deliverables.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with the creative team to brainstorm, strategize and develop content ideation and timely execution of creative projects and deliverables
Create pitches, pre- and post schedules
Ability to move creative projects from ideation to completion
Ability to write effective copy
Effectively pitch creative ideas in a compelling, passionate way.
Ensure all deliverables meet the client’s brand standards and adhere to strategy, brand guidelines as well as adherence to established workflows, policies and budgets
Demonstrate the ability to problem-solve and translate client needs to actionable outcomes
Spearheading multiple projects from pre-production, production and post
Work with and set project schedules for vendors and client
Manage external vendor relationships
Communicate and respond in a reasonable time to both client-facing and internal slack messages.
Communicate and respond in a reasonable time to both client-facing and internal emails.
Communicates consistently and proactively with Producers/Creative Directors to evaluate project/production statuses.
Provide weekly client-facing communications, observing proper client-relationship etiquette.
Discern appropriate times for client and internal communications, working to keep all involved parties up to date on project status, deadlines, and milestones.
Leads vendor calls on small-scale Productions
Create agendas ahead of calls
Assist Production Coordinator with updating project tracker.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
2 years of digital video production and content creation experience as a producer, project manager or similar role within an advertising agency a HUGE plus
Ability to work and thrive in a self-starter, fast-paced and changing environment
Strong communication and organization skills with the ability to track feedback and be adaptable in a fast- paced environment
Team player able to prioritize work and approach each project with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset
Knowledge of current and emerging social media platforms and tools; direct response marketing a HUGE plus
Love working with creative people in a collaborative team environment and are open to constructive criticism
Enjoy spending time on sets and are excited by learning in a hands-on environment
PREFERRED SKILLS
Proficiency with G-Suite (Google Slides, Sheets, Drive, etc.)
Effective communication skills both in email writing in-person interactions
Strong understanding and familiarity with social media platforms, including: Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Youtube, and Snapchat
Creative and/or Copy Writing
Project Management Operations
Experience with Project Management Software(s)
