What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Admin position at Denver Contracting?
Our accounting admin is responsible for ensuring that a company’s financial records are accurate and complete.
To fulfill their key responsibility, they perform a variety of Accounting Specialist job duties, including:
- Recording transactions such as expenses and sales revenue
- Processing payments to utilities and vendors to pay for supplies, materials and other expenses
- Sending bills to customers to request payment for services or goods provided
- Reconciling accounts and making note of debits and credits that have not posted
- Help printing checks and initiating direct deposits to pay employees
- Generating financial reports as requested
- Identifying and correcting any errors that occur due to data entry
- Filing tax returns
- Assisting with answering the main phones
- Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
- Experience in customer support and client services
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service abilities
- Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with call center operations and outbound calling
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus
- College degree preferred with an emphasis on accounting
