Established in 1887, Denver Country Club is recognized as the first club west of the Mississippi and one of the most prestigious private clubs in the country. The 585 member, by invitation only private club, hosts an 18 hole golf course, two indoor golf simulators (Foresight Quads), indoor and outdoor tennis, platform tennis, pickleball, ice hockey, lawn bowling, croquet, casual and fine dining. The club has a long history of golf championships including the Denver Open (PGA Tour Event 1962-1964), Trans-Mississippi Amateur (upcoming 2022), Pacific Coast Amateur and Curtis Cup (1984). A Golf Course renovation was completed in 2020 - Gil Hanse. The renovation has helped to secure Denver Country Club as one of the premier golf courses in the Western United States.

Daily Cleaning Duties
The Housekeeping Lead serves as part of the housekeeping team to clean and upkeep the following areas

- Caddie Bathrooms
- Skate house duties- cleans bathroom, vacuums, dusts, cleans windows, Cleans surfaces, keeps membership areas tidy.
- Employee/Receiving area- makes sure the area is tidy & clean, ashtrays are cleaned. Power washes down table and chairs.
- Clean and tidy Men’s Grill areas and Main dining area in Men’s grill
- Outside Areas of the Club -Clear any cobwebs that accumulate around the ceilings and walls, corners of the facility, clean pillars, posts and window sills, power wash East and West entrances, leaf blow terraces, clean tables & chairs on terraces and by pool, open pool umbrellas
- Shampoo carpets in all Club areas
- Is available for all special events (as requested by Clubhouse Manager) to assist the Clubhouse Manager in set-up, housekeeping needs.
- Any other Ad hoc duties as requested by management.
Administrative Duties
- Schedules housekeeping staff on Paycor, and ensures there is a team member in each area of the Clubhouse. West, East, Ladies Locker Room, 5 & 10 golf course bathrooms, employee cafeteria.
- Reviews and approves all payroll for scheduled pay runs.
- Develops cleaning schedules and rotation in conjunction with the Clubhouse Facilities Manager. Daily, weekly, monthly tasks. Including the scheduling of special projects and deep cleaning projects.
- Schedules monthly staff meetings to keep staff abreast of Department/Club information. Constantly seeks improvement in quality and training.
- Insures compliance with OSHA & MSDS Regulations with the Clubhouse Facilities Manager.
- Oversees quality inventories of linen and uniforms, including the assurance of day-to-day counting, reconciliation with vendors, etc.
- Trains and onboards all housekeeping staff.
- Procures bids and selections for purchase of linens, uniforms, housekeeping supplies for approval.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITES
- Ability to supervise a team and work independently
- Ability to lift to 30lbs.
- Ability to work on your feet for an 8-hour shift or more.
- Exposure to hot & cold temperatures
- Position is labor intensive-Must be able to pull, push, bend, reach, stand and use repeated manual movements.
- Must be flexible with scheduling and able to work holidays and weekends.
