Job Summary
The Supply Chain Analyst will serve as the intermediary between the Supply Chain Value Stream—clinical departments, vendors, the Purchasing Department, Receiving, Distribution, and Accounts Payable—and the ERP—Infor Cloudsuite. The Analyst role has two distinct elements of concentration—analysis and production within the ERP on behalf of the Supply Chain Value Stream and building improvement routines within the Value Stream. The work in this space will help to define and execute on the best-known-way current processes in the business (standard work), and, evaluate opportunity with the Value Stream leadership team opportunities or issues within current process, and then will seek to build an process improvement plan within the ERP. To be most effective, this team member will actively seek out waste in the process and be comfortable with experimentation, process improvement methodologies, and ERP operations. This Analyst position will report to the Director of Supply Chain and will comprise ½ of the Supply Chain Analyst team.
*The ideal candidate for this particular analyst role, 1 of 4 total Analysts in Supply Chain, will focus on contractual and purchasing data, reporting, and processes support and improvement.
Experience Required
a. At least 2 years prior experience as a user or analyst within Lawson or similar ERM within the Supply Chain Value Stream: Clinical Space, Purchasing, Receiving, Distribution, and/or Accounts Payable.
b. At least 2 years prior experience as a user or analyst of databases that required reporting, optimization, maintaining, and/or attribute or field set-ups.
c. At least 2 years prior experience in data collection, reporting, and/or analytics.
Experience Preferred
a. Experience analyzing and improving supply chain data, information and processes
b. Previous experience with supply chain processes strongly preferred
c. Significant experience working to improve all aspects of the supply chain using tools of continuous improvement—standard work, observation, and root cause analysis.
d. Candidates require strong data collection and analytics skills to identify trends, mitigate risks and improve product delivery.
e. Prior work experience that included tools such as Kanban boards, Gemba walks, and A3 Problem Solving
f. The ideal candidate will be proficient in spreadsheet applications, SQL analysis tools and mathematical analysis.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $63,500.00 - $95,400.00 per year
