Experience in specialty care is preferred.This position is based in Aurora, CO, and it is an in-person office position. This position is not remote. Our hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Please nore: This position does not have any direct patient care, patient contact will be via telephone only.

Position Responsibilities And Duties
- Scheduling patient appointments in an electronic scheduling system for all new patients to our practice offices this includes educating patients on our office locations and what they need to bring to their first appointment
- Collecting all patient data possible via phone (demographics, insurance info., other provider info., etc.) and entering into Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and input records into the EMR charts
- Assist with printing and mailing of New Patient Packets to patients
- Access various hospital & medical records portals to download patient records and attach to EMR
- Heavy communication with Physicians via email and the EMR system
- Daily and Monthly reporting
- Sending medical records requests to external practices and facilites for appointments
- Attaching patient records and administrative documents in EMR
- Answering and triage of incoming phone calls for the dept
- Respond to and handle incoming emails and faxes for the dept
- Utilization and maintenance of Microsoft Outlook
- Cross coverage of other duties as needed and other duties as assigned
- Two years experience in the medical field with at leastone year of patient scheduling experience
- Professionalism in appearance, behavior, and communication
- Displays patience and compassion in all patient interactions
- Attention to details
- Able to communicate verbally and in writing in a precise and clear manner
- Able to effectively multitask in a fast paced environment
- Must be computer literate. Must have intermediate to advanced skill levels with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Able to function at a high level of efficiency without constant supervision
- Work well with others in a cooperative and supportive manner
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with EHR is preferred.
- Specialty experience is preferred.
