Manages the school athletic program and leads student activities, integrating both into school culture work to increase student engagement and participation. Manages, supports, and evaluates an effective interscholastic school athletics program, overseeing all facets of sporting events / activities; adheres to all school, District, league and state association policies and procedures that relate athletic and non-athletic sponsored activity; and adheres to and upholds Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) and District athletic regulations and guidelinesLeads and supports student activitiesMaintains consistent communication and develops strong school, family and community relationships to build trust and buy-in, increase engagement, and ensure that school culture norms are articulated and reinforcedCreates and sustains a culture of excellence and continual support for all teachers and students; facilitates staff professional development to ensure a positive and consistent school environment and cultureModels the school's mission and values for professional conduct; creates systems and processes that celebrate success and proactively address areas of needMeasures and ensures success for program goals; establishes and maintains systems for collecting and evaluating related school metricsConducts regular walk-throughs and assessments of program areasProvides coaching and feedback for athletic coaches and student activities staffWhat You'll Need :
