Position Title: Manager of Homelessness Resolution Connections
Reports to: Director of Homelessness Resolution – Mobile & Community Connections
Job Classification: Full-time; Exempt
Salary Range: $57,900 - $77,100 annually

The Opportunity:
The Manager of Homelessness Resolution Connections (MHRC) position is responsible for managing the connections and resource work for Denver Rescue Mission (DRM). The MHRC will lead a team that vets, develops, organizes, and maintains community connections for our Homelessness Resolution Team (HRT) in addition to performing contract duties, as assigned. The MHRC will ensure that clarity and cohesion exist between HRT staff and connections to community resources and will facilitate the movement of clients through our systems toward housing stability.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Manage the staff experience to include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, resolving conflict, payroll, scheduling, time off requests and yearly reviews for the HRC team.
- Provide regular supervision of staff on the HRC team by convening weekly team and individual meetings.
- Provide continual oversight and training to the HRC team ensuring that they remain housing-focused, and client centered considering new ways of engagement.
- Ensure that the HRC team is entering the appropriate data into the Homelessness Management Information System (HMIS) and SCRIBE to track client progress and internal/external reporting criteria.
- Build collaborative relationships with entities that will help guests in housing resolution.
- Attend community/internal DRM meetings that promote collaboration.
- Attend weekly meetings with key staff members that promote collaboration.
- Represent the Mission at meetings and on committees as directed.
- Communicate with the public through speaking engagements, community meetings, interviews, etc.
- Provide leadership and professional expertise in developing, planning and implementing service providers connections and events overseeing communications between participating parties.
- Maintain DRM database of vetted resources for accuracy and usability by staff and clients to ensure DRM’s case planning efforts reflect a real-time understanding of resources that aid in exiting homelessness and supporting housing stability.
- Manage clear and consistent communication with DRM employees about community resources including notifications of changes and updates.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with all contact documentation and reporting requirements.
- Create, format, edit, and follow detailed workflows incorporating multiple databases, reports and spreadsheets.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as human services, social work, communications, marketing etc.
- One (1) year of related work experience. A combination of education and experience may be substituted.
- Preferred experience in managing employees and teams.
- Experience collaborating with community agencies and developing strategic partnerships to serve the purpose and mission of an organization.
- Experience researching and developing resources and engagements serving the purpose and mission of an organization.
- Must be detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks while independently following through with details.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with professionalism with a diverse group of people.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications – especially Excel.
- Must have an Active Driver’s License and insurable under Denver Rescue Mission’s standards to travel to various DRM facilities, partner organizations, and housing properties.
- Must be a Christian holding to the beliefs set forth in the Statement of Faith and Apostles Creed expressed by a personal testimony and Christian conduct.
