Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Monitor the allocation of equipment and materials, and may coordinate personnel to achieve the most efficient work coverage.
- Assess situations quickly and dispatch the proper crew, supervisor or employee, work requests, information or assistance to effectively expedite work processes.
- Prepare, maintain, and process a variety of records and requests including daily location records on all section crews, employees, equipment, and requisitions.
- Ensure and follow proper communication procedures in accordance with departmental and FCC rules and regulations.
- Assist internal and external customers with inquiries, problems or complaints regarding operational activity via incoming and outgoing calls.
- Follows-up, review, and update unresolved customer records or reports. Investigate simple and intermediate issues and follows through to a satisfactory conclusion.
- Authorize and/or makes adjustments of customer bills in accordance with the department’s grants of authority as needed.
- Review field orders to ensure correct format. Assist and communicate effectively with supervisors to ensure field personnel are able to maintain productivity level tracked metrics safely and efficiently.
- Serve as primary point of contact for Emergency Response and facilitates necessary action.
- Perform related work as required.
