To qualify for this role, applicants must possess a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited institution. They must also have completed a residency program in psychiatry and have at least 4 years of experience in the field. A valid medical license and board certification in psychiatry are required. Advanced certification in areas such as child and adolescent psychiatry or addiction medicine is desirable but not necessary. Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
