What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASSOCIATE GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAM ANALYST position at Department of Fish and Wildlife?

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) is seeking a motivated individual to work as the lead HR Liaison (AGPA) for Fisheries Branch (FB) providing support on personnel issues and other administrative support for the branch. Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I and as a member of the Fisheries Administrative Support Unit, the analyst independently performs a variety of complex activities related to Personnel, Facilities, Asset Management, and other analytical and technical support related to the operation of the Fisheries Branch. Will act as a liaison between FB and the Human Resource Branch (HRB),research and provide reference materials to advise management of alternative actions that may be taken regarding various personnel situations, research and respond to personnel issues and employees’ personnel questions, work with HRB to resolve hiring document issues, and apply all applicable rules and regulations when processing personnel transactions.
This position offers the possibility of an office-centered telework agreement based on the Department's current Telework Policy.
In order to be eligible for this position, you must either be transfer eligible or take and pass the following exam.

Working Conditions
Daily use of a personal computer, office equipment, and/or telephone. Requires being in a stationary position, consistent with office work, for extended periods. Position is eligible for telework per current CDFW guidelines. Job location is in an office park in West Sacramento with free parking.
