Working Conditions
Maintains the Arduous Fitness Standard in accordance with Department policy. The incumbent is required to wear respiratory protection equipment, including self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA). As such CAL/OSHA requires the incumbent to be annually medically cleared to be fit-tested for respiratory protection equipment. May be required to work nights, weekends or holidays in support of emergency incidents. The Unit expects a two-year commitment for all permanent assignments before granting transfer eligibility.

Benefits
$6078 - $7506 Range A Base Salary (paid every month)
In addition to the above pay items, employees are eligible for medical benefits (health, dental, vision) and may be eligible for other pay differentials.
NOTE: Range B only applies to employees who meet Alternate Range Criteria 40 requirements.

Filling Limited Term for up to 24 months with the possibility of becoming permanent.
