Job Title:
A Senior Dental Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive dental care services to patients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide restorative, periodontic, endodontic, diagnostic, surgical, and preventive dental services.
- Directs the dental team overall and evaluates the services and management of the team.
- Provide consultative services to the medical staff relative to oral health matters.
- Plan, organize, and administer a comprehensive dental health program for the Service Unit.
Requirements:
- A Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from a school approved by the American Dental Association (ADA).
- A current, full, and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
- One or more years of experience performing professional dentistry work for GS-12 level and above assignments.
Working Conditions:
Frequent travel to the White Earth Service unit to complete Dental tasks may be required.
