Summary of Duties
As an employee working within the
Child Welfare Program

that will support children and young adults to be safer, healthier, experience less trauma and achieve a greater well-being.
As a Business Support, you will:
- Provide administrative support to caseworkers and supervisors.
- Provide coverage for reception, manage incoming and outgoing mail, answer calls, address inquiries, coordinate schedules, and direct individuals to services and resources.
- Ensure compliance with laws, rules, and policies regarding payments, documents, and information.
- Handle administrative tasks including data entry, case management tasks, and record-keeping.
- Adapt to changes as needed by supporting various areas of Child Welfare.
Minimum Qualifications
- Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents. Or
- An associate degree in any field. Or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Attributes
We are looking for candidates with:
- Experience engaging and communicating with diverse populations both verbally and in writing.
- Experience using various computer systems or databases, including Microsoft 365 programs.
- Experience using organizational skills, prioritization, and time management to meet deadlines and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience completing tasks that demand meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience conducting work as part of a team, and individually.

Working Conditions
- Work will be conducted in the office; this is not a remote position.
- Employee’s work schedule will be Monday - Friday from 8 am - 5 pm PT.
- Address sensitive issues related to trauma, abuse, substance use, and crises.
- Engage with a diverse range of individuals, including those who have experienced trauma and may face challenges with emotional regulation.
- Requires substantial time spent stationary while operating a computer.
Background Checks and Requirements
