We are seeking to hire an AGPA to support various aspects of our hiring, recruitment and on-boarding operations:
Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I within the HQ/Administration Unit, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) independently performs complex analytical work related to the recruitment and on-boarding of staff for Labor Commissioner's Office (LCO) programs. The AGPA works closely with program leaders to develop recruitment strategies using various tools and methods and effectively implement a statewide on-boarding process for the LCO. The incumbent will serve as a personnel liaison within the LCO and liaison with the department's Human Resources office and work with each LCO program to prioritize hiring goals for the LCO.

Working Conditions
This position is located in Los Angeles, CA
The incumbent works 40 hours per week in an office setting. Air-conditioned, high-rise buildings with elevator access, cubicles with natural and artificial lighting. Indoor cubicle office environment for several hours a day. Occasionally attend committee meetings and outreaches; work remotely at community business partners locations; collaborate with staff statewide to complete work assignments.

The Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) was established in 1927.
